Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 12, 2026

Photo Dropp LLC (“Photo Dropp,” “we,” “us”) operates a software service used by event photographers to deliver sports and event photos to parents and guardians. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we communicate with you.

SMS communications

Photo Dropp sends transactional text messages to parents and guardians whose contact information has been added to a team roster by their photographer. These messages contain a private link to view and purchase photos of their child.

Program
Photo Dropp Delivery Notifications
Message types
Transactional only: a notification when new photos of your child are ready, including a unique link to your private gallery. No marketing, promotional, or recurring content.
Frequency
Low — typically 1–3 messages per photo session, with most parents receiving fewer than 10 messages per season.
How we got your number
Either you submitted your mobile number yourself on your team's public signup page and checked the box agreeing to receive text messages from Photo Dropp, or your photographer added it to their team contact list on your behalf. In both cases your number is used only to deliver the transactional notifications described above.
Opt out
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages.
Help
Reply HELP to any message, or email support@photodropp.com.
Carrier disclosure
Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Information we collect

  • Contact information — name, email, and phone number that your photographer adds to their team roster.
  • Photographs — images uploaded by your photographer in which your child appears. Watermarked previews are visible in your private gallery; original files are unlocked only after purchase.
  • Purchase information — order history and payment confirmations. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
  • Delivery events — when SMS and email messages are sent, delivered, opened, or bounced. Used to surface delivery problems to your photographer.

How we use information

To deliver your child's photos to you, to process purchases, to send transactional notifications, and to operate and improve the service. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for marketing outside of Photo Dropp.

Service providers

We use third-party processors to operate the service: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS delivery), Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare R2 (photo storage), Neon (database), and Vercel (hosting). Each receives only the data needed for its narrow function.

Retention

Photo galleries are time-limited (typically a 48-hour purchasing window from first delivery). Purchased photos remain accessible to the buyer indefinitely. Contact records persist for your photographer's account history. Delete requests can be sent to support@photodropp.com.

Children's privacy

Photo Dropp is not directed at children. Galleries are accessed by parents and guardians via private magic-link URLs; we do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
